Two new qualifying times for the MIAA State Championship qualifying times were achieved by Millie Teague in the 200-yard individual medley (16th place) and in the 100-yard breaststroke (14th place, 1:13.00).  The State-qualifying 200-yard medley relay team of Cailin Currie, Kirsten Currie, Millie Teague, Cana Teague achieved 10th place (1:58.53), and the same team swam the 200-yard freestyle relay, also qualifying for States (10th place, 1:47.40).  Senior Cailin Currie placed 22nd in the 200-yard individual medley (2:27.21), and 37th in the 100-yard butterfly (1:12.69); also swimming butterfly was Cana Teague (25th place, 1:06.62)  and 100-yard backstroke (27th place, 1:07.60).  Kirsten Currie finished 7th in the 100-yard freestyle (56.95) and 8th in the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.10).  Results are posted on


Besides the girls qualifiers for MIAA State Championships, Conor McCarthy is advancing to the MIAA Boys State Championships. These swimmers will be competing at Girls and Boys state championships next weekend at Boston University, which is the conclusion of the season for Tanners Swimming and Diving.
