Peabody Tanners Swimming and Diving fell to Danvers in their last meet of the regular season by a score of 81 to 104. Their season record in complete at 5 wins and 4 losses.
First place finishes for individual events include Kirsten Currie (100- and 200-yard freestyle), Conor McCarthy (100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard individual medley), and Millie Teague (500-yard freestyle). For relays, the Tanners won the 200-yard freestyle relay (Will Connolly, Cailin Currie, Kirsten Currie, and Conor McCarthy).
"This has been a great season for this team," said Head Coach, Maureen Shea. "We have a lot of new talent, they worked hard and earned every point. The coaching staff and I are very proud of them."
The Tanners now enter the post-season, in which they will be swimming next at the North East Conference Championship Meet at Salem State University on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, January 31 and February 1.
